Ruby had met Bobo when he was still Robert Svane and she was Elizabeth Barnet. When he'd been killed, Elizabeth had raged and destroyed half the town before disappearing again and turning to slumber to ease some of the pain that had come with losing her soul mate.
It was years before she felt the pull that had her returning to Purgatory.
The pattern repeated a few more times in much the same way which brought them to now. Bobo has survived Ward Earp but there would always be a new heir and, even though the vampire couldn’t bring herself to stay in Purgatory -she had children to keep an eye on, after all, a family who needed her outside the Triangle- she would never stray too far while an heir lived.
Purgatory was buzzing with the news that Wynonna Earp had returned and Ruby felt her lip curl and her fangs lengthen at the mention of the Earp name. She wanted to find the heir and kill her where she stood but there were more important things to worry about at the moment.
Namely, one Bobo Del Rey, who would be back now that she was here. The trailer park looks much like she remembers it and she spots the familiar fauxhawk easily.
