"No one has called me that since before I went to boarding school." He
studied her for a long moment, trying to figure out just exactly who she
was. "Who are you?" He said, leaning in a bit closer as he continued to
study her features. Of course, he was trying to remember all of the girls
he'd ignored in school. He certainly wasn't thinking of his childhood
friend.

the room and noticing his mother staring at the two of them. And then she
gave that infuriating knowing smile of hers and his eyes narrowed. "Someone
